Berabaddies and Concrete Launch Community-Yield Vault on Berachain to Simplify DeFi
A female-focused crypto community, Berabaddies, has partnered with infrastructure firm Concrete to introduce a community-yield vault aimed at simplifying decentralized finance (DeFi) for non-technical traders. The vault offers yield farming opportunities on Berachain, a blockchain that launched earlier this year.
Founded by Keisha, who prefers to use only her first name, Berabaddies emerged from a desire to create a more inclusive space in the male-dominated crypto Discord servers and chat groups. "Berachain is the community that I found my home in and I found my voice," Keisha remarked.
The Berabaddies multisig vault features weekly reviews and a 72-hour withdrawal hold window for enhanced security. Despite the complexities of Berachain’s Proof-of-Liquidity mechanism, the initiative seeks to lower the entry barrier for newcomers and even seasoned DeFi users transitioning from other chains.
